This website is operated by MULTIMOVE SHIPPING & TRADING LTD., M.Q. Plaza (1st Floor), 161 Strand Road, Fakirhat, Bandar, Chattogram 4100, Bangladesh ("Multimove", "we", "us"). For privacy questions, contact info@multimovebd.com.
What we collect
Inquiry form. Your name, company, business email, optional phone number, inquiry type and message. We also record the date and time of submission and your IP address, which we use only to prevent spam and abuse.
Email and CVs. If you email us, including job or seafarer applications, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your CV and copies of certificates.
Website logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. [If analytics are added, describe them here and add a cookie notice.]
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and, where you ask us to, provide a quotation or service.
- To assess applications for office or shipboard positions, including sharing a seafarer's CV and certificates with the shipowner or manager concerned, with the candidate's knowledge.
- To keep records needed for our business, legal and regulatory obligations.
- To protect the website against spam, fraud and misuse.
We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Sharing
We share information only with staff who need it, with service providers who host our website and email under confidentiality obligations, with principals or clients where needed to act on your request, and with authorities where the law requires.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for [24 months] after our last contact unless they become part of a business relationship. CVs are kept for [12 months] unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to info@multimovebd.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with [applicable Bangladeshi law].
Security
The website uses HTTPS. Form submissions are sent by email to authorised staff and are not stored in a public location. No online system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, bank details or other highly sensitive information through the form.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
