What we provide
Multimove connects shipowners and ship managers with qualified, experienced seafarers from Bangladesh. We match people to the vessel type, rank, trading pattern and operating needs of each principal, and we look after the screening, documentation and coordination that deployment requires.
The company has supplied officers, engineers and crew to international fleets since 1998, including long-standing appointments as exclusive manning agent in Bangladesh for overseas shipowners. Our pool covers deck and engine departments, officers and ratings, which allows us to respond quickly to replacement requests.
Our officers
Our officers and engineers hold Certificates of Competency and other qualifications issued or recognised in countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangladesh. Junior officers in both departments complete structured maritime education and practical training before entering service.
Our ratings
Ratings are trained at recognised maritime institutions in Bangladesh, including government institutions in Chattogram, with training that combines theory and practice under STCW. Selection takes account of conduct, adaptability and the ability to work in multinational crews. Training covers:
