Port Operations & Ship Husbandry
Support for the vessel, master and crew while the ship is in a Bangladeshi port, available around the clock, seven days a week.
Some of the services below are carried out by our own staff. Others are arranged through local suppliers and contractors that we coordinate and supervise. Each service is labelled accordingly.
Direct provided by Multimove staff Arranged supplied by third parties and coordinated by Multimove
Crew changes Direct
Sign-on and sign-off formalities, immigration liaison, transport and accommodation arrangements, and coordination with crewing agents and owners.
Spares, stores and mail Direct
Clearance and delivery on board of owners' spares, stores, mail and documents.
Provisions and fresh water Arranged
Supply of provisions and fresh water through local chandlers and water suppliers.
Ship hardware and supplies Arranged
Sourcing of ship hardware and general supplies from local vendors.
Bunkers and lubricants Arranged
Supply of bunker fuel and lubricants at Bangladeshi ports through established local suppliers and barge operators, subject to availability.
Repairs and dry-docking Arranged
Coordination of afloat repairs and dry-docking with Chattogram yards, with attendance by our staff.
Surveys and P&I assistance Arranged
Appointment of surveyors and 24-hour assistance to masters, owners, operators and P&I clubs with incidents, claims and legal matters.
Operational communications Direct
Day-to-day contact with the master, owners and operators during the call, with regular status reports.
